Simple Electronic Signature

The Simple Electronic Signature guarantees the signing of the electronic document, within a process with more or less robust requirements and with a basic level of authentication.

Advanced Electronic Signature

For more robust signatory identity verification, ideal for cases requiring maximum security, BIX-SIGN integrates BIX-IDE into the advanced electronic signature flow.

In order to have legal value, an AES must satisfy three fundamental requirements:

Certain identification of the signer: BIX-IDE guarantees that only the lawful subjects can sign, identifying them via Artificial Intelligence.
Document unalterability: BIX-SIGN ensures that the signed document has not been altered in any way after signing.
Signature Uniqueness: BIX-SIGN guarantees that each signature is unique and cannot be reproduced.

Qualified Electronic Signature

The QES is the type of electronic signature with the highest degree of reliability and security.

Applicable to any type of electronic document and to all forms of movable and immovable contracts, it is based on a qualified signature certificate that guarantees the authenticity, integrity and non-repudiation of electronically signed electronic documents.

How BIX-SIGN works

1. START OF PROCESS

The user receives the link protected with strong authentication* via email and starts the electronic signature process.

In the case of the Advanced Electronic Signature process, the signer is identified with Artificial Intelligence.

2. SIGNATURE

The user views the documents and the workflow guides him in selecting the signature fields and entering all the required data.

Upon confirmation of the signature summary, the telephone number connected to the user’s session is verified via OTP code (SMS or E-mail) and the signature is added to the documents.

3. ELECTRONIC STORAGE

At the end of the process, the subjects involved in the process receive an E-mail notification to download the signed documents.

The evidence of the electronic signature and identification process (Audit Trail Document, videos, images, Logs and mathematical results) are stored in accordance with the IX-CE system.*
